Beneath the Bridge: A Layered View of the Bay
There’s something uniquely compelling about looking at a familiar landscape from an unconventional angle. This photograph, taken from under the 680 bridge, offers just that, providing a layered view of the bay that feels both new and timeless.
The bridge itself frames the shot, its powerful lines leading the eye across the water toward the distant shore. What I find most interesting, though, is the incredible depth created by the clouds. They act as a natural backdrop, adding a sense of scale and atmosphere that makes the view feel more expansive. And of course, in the background stands the unmistakable silhouette of Mount Diablo, a constant sentinel in the landscape.
