Spotlight Photo: 1932 Ford Coupe Red

There’s something uniquely powerful about a pop of color in a world of black and white. This photograph, taken at the Napa Car Show in 2022, is a perfect example of that. What I love to do with car photography is desaturate the surroundings, leaving only the vibrant color of the vehicle itself.

Hearst Castle is a place that feels larger than life, a landmark so grand it’s almost a character in itself. This photograph, taken from the front, is my tribute to its timeless beauty. When I captured this image, I wasn’t just trying to get a postcard-perfect shot; I was trying to convey the feeling of standing there, looking up at this magnificent structure.
